My three year old daughter and I were hit by a drunk driver on Jan. 4, 2009 on I-20 headed to see my husband’s band play in Covington, Georgia.  Witnesses saw the drunk driver weaving in and out of traffic, speeding, and driving poorly for several miles.  Witnesses had called in to the police stating that this vehicle was going to cause a wreck.  I was unaware of this because it was all happening behind me. 

I was in the far right hand lane and all of a sudden realized that we had been hit and were spinning down the interstate.  All I could think about was that I had to get this car stopped and make sure my baby was ok.  Apparently this drunk driver had went off in the median trying to pass other cars and when he tried to get back on the road he hit us in the right rear passenger side.
